Jennifer Bowman

Founder & Principal Consultant

Jennifer Bowman is a strategic leader, consultant, and connector with nearly two decades of experience across the nonprofit, arts and culture, education, and production sectors.

As the Founder & Principal Consultant of JMB Creative Strategies, she channels her passion for connecting people, partnerships, and resources into meaningful action. Her work bridges vision and execution, creating space for collaboration, creativity, and meaningful community impact.

Throughout her career, Jennifer has built a track record of designing and advancing initiatives that connect mission to action. She has worked with organizations including Houston Grand Opera, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Folger Shakespeare Library, and NEWorks Productions, partnering with executives, funders, artists, eucators, and community leaders to deliver work that is both impactful and sustainable.

Jennifer is a sought-after speaker and facilitator, with invitations from organizations including the University of Houston, American University, OPERA America, the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts, the Sphinx Organization, Washington National Opera, and schools and community organizations across the country.

The Houston, TX native holds degrees from Dartmouth College and the Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University and is a graduate of the Sphinx Organization’s LEAD program for emerging executives.
